More leaky than I would have liked and less intense than I remember, but hey, it kinda works and doesn’t put me in mortal danger.
Now I wonder what it would be like to smoke things with spices like cinnamon and star anise… and I smell like a bonfire, go figure.

Now off to smoking Soyu for quiz, so she can try the 3 days ramen.
Quiz, I was meaning to ask when we’d tackle the topic of ramen. Smoking shoyu is the least I can do. I wonder if maple wood is fine.
Not to mention brewing some alkaline water to make springy noodles.
Now that I’m looking into it, there’s probably a whole lot of other woods I can get my hands on, cherry, apple, walnut, lemon, almond, maybe even bourbon soaked oak…
calm calm. I think for Soyu its not really making much of a difference
also the ramen does start when i have my own noodle maker
